Subaru Legacy 1993 $2,800

We are a Subaru family - currently with 2 Subarus. One of them, our fantastic 1993 Subaru, has to go - and it has belonged to our little family ever since it was brand sparkling new. This is very sad indeed. The only reason we are selling it is that we got an incredible deal on an electric car. , So, what can I tell you about this Subaru? It is beige, a wagon, and has all-wheel drive, of course. Does it snow much here in Southern California? No, but we have gone to Mammoth or Snowbird skiing. No problem. Gone to Seattle during snowstorms and all. No problem. Gone xcountry skiing on Pine Mountain and Idaho. No problem. , The car, of course, has a 5 speed manual transmission - one reason for the great mileage it gets (30 miles/gallon typically). The engine is 2.2 liters and is nice and strong. At the last smog check (half a year ago) the emission was measured as HC 37 (max allowed 100), CO 0.03 (max allowed 1). Of course, we will get it smog checked again in the next couple of days - needed when selling it, of course., The A/C works just perfectly. The car comes with power windows, power brakes, power steering, power door locks, cruise control, airbag, and tilt wheel. All instrument lights works perfectly. The car has 5 doors, seatbelts all around, flip forward split rear seat, and the rear seat bottom can also be flipped forward in which case the whole rear cargo area will have a flat floor - so you nearly have a ballroom in the back (allright, at least for a small ball!)., The car has never been in any accidents what-so-ever. The car has no rust what-so-ever either - we live in southern California after all. Everything is functioning as when it was new. No tears of the seat upholstery. We have replaced the stereo with a much better stereo with a CD player. Further, the car has a roof rack. Also, we have the special yakima roof rack uprights needed for this car, and we will certainly include those. The tires are the best for this car money can buy - and it makes a big difference, actually. They are Michelin Destiny. These tires are guaranteed for 80,000 miiles but we have only put 5,000 miles on them so they are as good as new. Oh, and we have a set of snow chains for the car as well - and we will throw those into the deal as well. Oh, and the cargo area has a cargo cover that you pull out to cover whatever you got in the cargo area., We still have the original owner's manual, and we have all service records as well., 226000 miles is the mileage on this baby, and it is really nothing for one of these cars. We fully expect it to be able to go another couple of hundred thousand miles with no problem whatsoever., Is this a great car or what?
