1978 Pontiac Trans Am, , Now here is a cool car. This is a 78' Trans Am Special Edition with the Gold Package. Automatic Transmission, the big 455 engine, and T-Tops, Automatic windows and locks. , , This is a car that you don't see everyday. This SE car has the gold package, T-tops, automatic transmission, and 455 engine. Which runs great i believe the fuel pump is weak cause to start it you have to pump the gas like theres no tomorrow once its running is fine but getting it started the first time takes some pumping other than that she's a good runner i wouldn't attempt to take it cross country for fear of a small part wearing out (hoses belts alternator?? who knows)This car is in good shape. The exterior of this car is in good shape. Doesn't need much work at all. There is a few dents. One on the back passenger fender and a couple little ones on the back driver side fender. There are a few minor rust spots that are all pictured below. The worst part on the exterior is on the rough where the paint cracked and there is surface rust. It has the gold steering wheels and the gold on the dash behind the black gauge cluster rings which you can see in the pictures belows which is all part of the gold package. There are a few minor cracks in the dash. The seats and carpet show some wear but not anything that serious. This car has factory automatic windows and locks, along with an aftermarket cassette player., , These tires and wheels do not come with the car. They are my very good set of honeycomb wheels. The car comes with just a normal set of wheels and tires. I have not gotten a picture of them yet I will get that on here shortly. If you would like to make an offer with the wheels in the pictures I will gladly try and work something out for you.
