A Pontiac Firebird with the 326 V8 2 barell carb, Automatic transmission that will make a great driver. It appears to have had an older restoration as you can see some of the rust bubbles starting to appear. The engine compartment looks very good and has the factory spare in the trunk. The interior is in very nice shape with the black vinyl interior. The car appears to have most of the original options and equipment, including the YJ engine block code which is a 326 2 barell carb, column shift automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes. If you want a very original car that has been not hotrodded this car is for you. Hard to find the cars that havent had there motors yanked out and bigger motors put in. This is a period correct motor, I do not know if it is the original motor but has correct 67 Pontiac 326 engine code. Trim tag shows that is was an original black interior car and Montego Cream exterior paint. This will make a great driver at an very affordable price. Here is some history on the Firebird The base model Firebird came equipped with the OHC inline-6 and a single-barrel carburetor. The next model, the Sprint, had a four-barrel carburetor, developing 215 hp (160 kW). Most buyers opted for one of the V8 engines: the 326 CID (5.3 L) with a two-barrel carburetor producing 250 hp (186 kW); the H.O. (High Output) engine of the same displacement, but with a four-barrel carburetor and producing 285 hp (213 kW); or the 400 CID (6.6 L) from the GTO with 325 hp (242 kW). 67,032 were produced in 1967. It vin decodes as followa 2=Pontiac, 23=Firebird, 37= 2 dr hardtop, 7=year 67. Drum brakes were standard on the Firebird with Disc optional. Power steering was also an option. The 3 speed transmission was standard with a 4 speed manual and the Automatic being optional. Convience options available were power windows, push button AM or AM-FM radio, rear speaker, CLock, AC, Speed control, underhood and trunk lamp, rear window defogger and hood mounted tach.
