Built in the late 1980s, before Pro-Touring became a household phrase, this special car has been featured in national publications including Mopar Muscle, Car Craft and Hot Rod. It is also a former Mopar National Prize Winner and was featured on the cover of the '88 California Suspension Catalog., Mopar Muscle fitting addresses this car as "Darth Vadar's Machine." Finished in all black, this car takes on a sinister quality and is bad to the bone to this day., Under the hood is the stout & correct to this car 383 c.i. V8. This 10.5:1 compression powerplant was bored .030 over and fitted with a Mopar Performance Street Hemi grind camshaft. Induction duties are taken care of via dual 4bbl. Carter carburetors atop an aluminum Offenhauser intake. Ceramic coated headers get the exhaust gases out in a hurry through the custom dual exhaust system. This car looks and sounds just plain mean.
