2012 Mini Cooper S. 32,903 actual miles, Michigan clear/clean flood title. Equipped as follows: 1.6L Turbo 4 cylinder engine. 6 speed manual transmission. Air (cold), tilt, cruise. Power steering, brakes, windows, locks, mirrors, and dual front/rear sunroofs. Leather seating, with dual front heated seats. Rear wiper, defogger, fog lamps, and alloy rims. Am fm cd stereo, anti-lock brakes, security system, keyless entry, loaded. Condition as follows: I purchased this car from an insurance sale. This car was a water/flood damaged unit. I believe that the previous owner of the car tried to drive the car through a flooded portion of a road. The air intake for this car is very low, and it sucked up some water into the engine. The water never got into the transmission, and interior of the car. I went ahead and had the oil changed/flushed two times. So currently there is no water in anything. No musky smell inside, and everything works. This car is a Michigan car, and definitely was not a deep fresh or salt water car. I had to replace a couple of sensors, and also put a brand new battery in the car. The car runs perfect, with cold air, but there is one check engine light that stays on. The code comes up as a catalytic converter efficiency code. I had it reset by my mechanic and it just comes back on. This does not affect the way the car runs or drives, and may very well cure itself with some miles put on it. I personally put almost 400 miles on this car and it runs like a bat out of hell. Cosmetically the car is in mint condition with just the following minor issues. The nose of the hood has some very tiny pin head stone chips in it, along with one very tiny stone chip ding. The interior is like new just missing one of the rear seat upper pop in headrests. Again the car runs and drives perfect, with everything working, no leaks, and all original paint.
