This is a true two owner car. This car was purchased from the original owner over 25 years ago. It has always been well taken care of and maintained by a local Mercedes-Benz specialist. This vehicle is mechanically solid and in great driving condition. As nice as this car is, it is a survivor and though well maintained has never been restored. Any and all repairs were always done to the highest of standards. Because this car is unrestored it shows the normal patina of a 37 year old car. The interior is in very good shape and so is the exterior. However as you would expect there are small things like worn areas on the leather seats and a bubble or two starting show on the paint. Over all thought the paint and interior are in very good shape. This is a very, very honest car. What I mean is it has not had a bunch of cover-up, cosmetic work done and you will see, what you are truly getting. This believe it or not this is very important when purchasing an older classic car. Early in my career and car hobby days I learned this the hard way. Believe me I have been fooled in my early days and bought classic cars that looked much nicer that they really were, only to find out later that they had been filled with bondo, had substandard repairs or a bunch of other tricks done to cover up major problems.
