It has been in my possession since 2005, and been garage kept every day since then. The prior owner had it since the mid 90's, and he kept it garaged every night as well. Looking at the car, you can tell it has not spent much of it's life outside. The car was originally a blue metallic, but was repainted white at some point. I have no knowledge of this car being involved in any wrecks, and have found no evidence of bondo underneath the paint. The body is straight and (estimated at) 99% rust free. There is one bubble on the passenger side door, about 1". There are only a few small dents in the hood & roof, which are only noticeable in the proper lighting. There is a decent paint chip near the driver's side door hinge (pictured). The only other noticeable body defect is a small dent on the rear quarter (pictured). It is accessible from the trunk, and should be an easy fix if you were aptly skilled. , , The interior is in very good condition. There is one tiny (1/8") tear in the driver's seat, and a crack in the dashpad (replacements are readily available). The carpet is worn, but not badly. If I had the time, I'd spend the $150 to replace it...this car would really look good on the inside with that upgrade. The headliner is in perfect condition, no sagging whatsoever. All the gauges work, although the fuel gauge isn't reliable once you get to about 1/4 tank. I believe this is an issue with the sending unit, and you'll find a replacement in the trunk. Speaking of the trunk, the plaid fabric is in great condition, including the spare tire cover and the toolbag. The car has factory a/c, but needed to be recharged when I got it. I intended to change it over to 134a, but never got around to it. In the meanwhile, I removed the compressor (you can see the empty platform next to the dizzy). Of course, the compressor is in the trunk., , Mechanically, the car is sound. C4 automatic transmission is on a fresh rebuild, and is running great, no leaks, firm shifts & kickdown. It has a 289 (the air filter has a hi-po sticker on it, that's just for looks) that runs strong and starts right up. Had an OEM 2bbl carb, but the prior owner replaced that with a Holley 4bbl, and also added an Edelbrock aluminum intake. I added a Pertronix distributer & coil. All the replaced OEM parts are in the trunk. The front suspension was also rebuilt by the prior owner (have the receipts). Neither he nor I drove the car all that much, but we both took good care of it. Inside and out, this car is a cream puff. The tires are brand new (< 200 miles), as are the American Racing wheels. The OEM hubcaps are also in the trunk.
