This 66 Chevy Impala SS is a true Super Sport model that has the correct dated 1966 327 engine, double hump 202 heads, Edelbrock alum intake and carb., HEI ignition, brakes, originally the car had factory AC, however, the AC has been removed. Limited slip Posi traction axle with 3.08 gear ration. This driver quality car has a solid body, older repaint that has maintained its high luster, orig. sheet metal, solid doors and front fender and rear quarters. Originally, the car was Artesian Turquoise, Code K. There are NO signs of the turq. color showing anywhere on this older repaint. A few minor bubbles which is very minimal over the body is in very good condition. Driver quality chrome bumpers, new replacement tinted windshield, all other tinted glass is original. New dual bowtie side view mirrors, 15 Rally wheels with raised white letter radial tires. Beautiful orig. trim, stainless and bright work. The car has a terrific sound With Flow Master mufflers and cruises smoothly. Tight front end, steers and stops straight, no noise or vibration. The interior is spotless. Over $5,000 was spent restoring the interior with black buckets, new seat covers, door panels, carpet headliner, rear pkg. tray, front dash pad. Beautifully restored orig. Impala steering wheel. Complete set of seat belts, custom gauges in the console, radio delete, new brushed alum applique, new switches, new Astro chrome vents, new arm rest pillars and plastic chrome arm bases. The glove box and dash board has been refinished in the high gloss black Emmron paint. Everything looks and smells new! The trunk is solid, spare, tire and orig. jack, new weather strip on the doors, pillars and trunk. Nice quarter vent rubbers appear to be original.
