It spent its first year displayed in the Indy museum at the entrance next to the actual Pace car used in the 1995 race. After the display was removed it was bought by Jack Cauley Chevrolet in West Bloomfield, Michigan in March of 1996. It was then purchased by John Novak of Wixom, Michigan and he has been the only owner. This Pace car Corvette listed for $49,750 and currently looks as fresh as the day it was produced and has traveled only 19,205 miles in its lifetime. It has never been used in anything other than car shows or fair weather pleasure driving. Powered by the tried and true 350ci 300hp LT-1 Chevrolet engine mated to a four speed automatic transmission. Well equipped with power steering, power four wheel anti-lock disc brakes, cruise control, tilt steering column, power windows, power seats both passenger and driver and they have the leather sport seat feature, power door locks with remote control, intermittent windshield wipers, electronic climate control, Delco Bose AM/FM stereo sound system that has both a cassette and CD player. There are three sets of tires and two sets of wheels that are included with the car. One set of tires are the originals and have approximately 1,000 miles on them. The other two sets are in excellent condition and were used mainly for show purposes. The wheels are of the original style with one set in factory painted aluminum and the other set is chromed but again in the original factory style.
