1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray For Sale in our Chicago Showroom. The 65 Vette has the 327 300 HP small block and the 4 speed manual transmission. It has the Nassau Blue paint with the Bright Blue interior. Options on this Vette are A/C, Delco AM/FM radio, power antenna, windshield washers, full factory gauges that seem to work fine, factory seat belts, Softray tinted glass, clock, wood steering wheel, Knock-off Wheels, Side pipe dual exhaust system, and a nice vinyl interior with aftermarket Corvette" floor mats. Parts like the fuel pump, water pump, brake lines, transmission, steering column bearing, springs and shocks front and rear, have all been rebuilt or replaced. Numbers match. #21040 build date. Frame in excellent shape, rust free. Al Knoch interior. Everything lines up. Paint is an 8 on a scale of 10. All chrome in perfect condition. Runs great, straight and tight, no rattles. This Vette has 4-wheel disc brakes rebuilt with stainless sleeves and Positraction. Everything works â?" a/c, gauges, clock, radio, parking brake. New front & rear suspension, brake lines, tires. Short of a body-off, all parts of this car have been carefully restored. Rebuilt with the 350hp â??351â? cam to improve performance w/o impacting originality. Everything correct as it was delivered except for side exhaust and knock-offs. Have ignition shielding. Also tabs, moldings and muffler/piping in consideration of a future change to its stock exhaust configuration. Wheels are true knock-off, not bolt-on. Have original steel wheels with tires also. This is a very nice, well maintained car. This 65 Corvette made a hour and 20 minute trip down to us with no issues. Steering feels tight and the headlight doors flip up properly. The dual snorkel air cleaner looks good and it looks to have the original style A/C compressor. Those are radial tires on the Knock-off wheels. The paint, which was repainted once to the factory color, chrome, stainless, interior are all real nice on this car.
