It appears very solid and has been garage kept for the at least the past 10-20 years and it shows. This is your run of the mill Chevelle 300 Deluxe. A lot of the chrome was switched over to make it look like a 396 car however it is not. It is a 327 250-275 h.p., , , , As you will see in the trunk pictures there are a lot of extra chrome parts and interior trim pieces (believe to be originals). All parts in the trunk are included in the sale., , , , The paint on this car is in great condition. We detailed the entire car so you can see the quality of the paint work. It appears to be the stock color. We noticed some minor floor panel work . The overall frame and sheet metal are solid and show no sign of major accidents or repairs. The repaint looks thorough and well done. The door lower rear corner seams appear rust free and pronounced. We did see that the trunk seams were filled. The car appears to have had a trailer hitch welded to the frame but 90% of it has been removed. The chrome-brightwork on the car looks pretty nice. WE noticed a few rust bubbles by the RR wheel well. There is a scratch under the RF fender emblem. The roof sills looks solid and nice. There is a scratch on the Left 1-4 panel. , , , , The motor is stock other than some chrome accesories. Stock cast intake manifold with a stock Quadrajet Carb. The motor is connected to a correct 2 speed powerglide which then passes through a standard 10 bolt non-posi rear end. , , , , The interior is custom and you can see that most parts are modified or changed out. , , , , Mechanically this car runs and drives nicely. We replaced the master cylinder and wheel cylinders so it stops safely and smoothly. The engine idles nicely and does not smoke. It has not major rattles and revs up nice and smooth. The transmission shifts right and feels good. This is a great driver., , , , Based on the current condition of this car I think it would make a great cruiser right off the bat.
