This was Cadillac at the top of it's game. If you want a quality Woodward Dream cruiser then this is the car for you. It was the last year for the full sized Coupe De Ville. It was the last year for the fabulous 500 cubic inch engine. This classic has less than 83,000 miles on it. That's only 2300 miles a year for 36 years! Both front and rear bumpers (with rub strips) are in excellent condition. The dash looks like it just left the factory. This car will cruise at 100 mph with one finger steering it. I spent two years restoring this car to its present condition. A lot of love and sweat went into this (on frame) restoration. The reason that I'm selling it is because I want to refurbish another classic. It's my hobby since I retired. Listed below is the work performed. , The radiator has been updated, spark plugs changed, rear shocks changed to adjustable air shocks, 4 barrel carb. has been rebuilt, antifreeze changed, air filter changed. Body was sanded down, and filled. The custom paint job consisted of the following steps; 2 coats of hi-build primer, 1 coat of sealer, 4 coats of metallic racing green base, 4 coats of clear, all this was rubbed out by hand not a power wheel. Pin stripping was added in a contrasting apple green. The interior has been steam cleaned. All the vinyl on the interior doors and back seat area has been changed out. A new custom vinyl cabriolet roof was installed and the windows tinted with 35% film. This was added after the pictures were taken., , Every light is working as with the factory installed AM/FM radio and power ant. This car is loaded with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks and power ant. The air conditioning needs to be converted to 134A freon. At present the system is not blowing cold air., , This car will still be running for another 36 years. This is your chance to own a piece of automotive history.
