This award-winning 1927 Buick Model 27 sedan received a full frame-off restoration in 1979 and subsequently won every big award the hobby can bestow on an old car. Thats quite a rare thing, since today this car would likely have ended up as a parts car for a roadster or touring model. Instead, its beautifully preserved, drives like new, and offers a lot of old car fun for not a lot of money. Buick offered two series in 1927, the Standard and the Master, and the Model 27 was the top-of-the-line in the Standard series. Buicks were painted standard colors depending on the body style, and this lovely 4-door sports Washington Blue with traditional black fenders and trim, making it highly correct. Finish work was done to show standards in 1979 and it still presents today as a spectacular example of a seldom-seen model.
